Is God interested in me? Does He care? How can I connect to Him more?
I feel so alone, but I don’t want to be. Is there an authentic community out there that will listen but not judge?
In CARVE groups, we dive deeply into our own stories and share them with the others in our group. Everyone covenants to a judgement free, intentional listening zone and the core tenants are (1) C-curiosity about yourself, (2) A-attunement to others, (3) R-resilience, (4) V-vulnerability, and (5) E-encouragement.
Whether your group is in person, online, or a previously formed entity, this group work is just that: work. It will require emotional, spiritual, and mental stretching which will also make a lot of requests of your physical body to stick with it, even though it’s hard.
Yet, dare I say, it might be one of the most beautiful works you do.
Send me a message with your questions or to sign up! (Prior payment will be required to secure your spot. Cost is $150.)
*Some influences for the creation of these groups include Confessional Communities (through the Center for Being Known) and Dr. Curt Thompson’s writings, story work examples from Adam Young, group spiritual direction work, and the Holy Spirit.*
